| Mini rock crawler vs rs10
hey, i am really wanting to get into rock crawling, and i am interested in spending around/under 350 aus dollars. The mini rock crawler is 350 and the redcat racing rock slide rs10 is about 230. im thinking the mini is better, but for the price of rs10 its a hard decision. i do not wanto spend more then this, and as a comparison the new rtc axial as around 400 aus dollars also, what parts usually break on rock crawlers? the mini will be easier to salvage parts for. thanks byee |

The Losi mini crawler is great fun, if you have some other guys to go crawling with. I find they get a little boring, like most crawlers, when your by yourself. I would definatly get the Mini crawler over RS10 As for breakages, I cant say much for the mini as i haven't seen much break on them yet. On larger scale rigs anything and everything can be broken. Mainly driveshafts, Outdrives and rodends from my experience. Be gentle on them and they will do you well. jump them, drop them off huge drops and generally bash them, they will break like any car/truck out there Head over to the local Aus forum, www.thecrawlpit.com and introduce yourself. Theres a heap of guys there form brissy who hold local weekly night comps aswell, maybe you can head over and meetup with them. MRC arnt that popular in Aus by my standards, Axials being most common in the Limited/Trail class. Lots of good secondhand bargains to be had on the local forum to if you want to go down that path. cheers John |
