Default Servo Problem

i have a ultra torque hi-tec hs-645mg servo mounted on my ax10. when i turn it on and the controller, the servo always steers to the right. so when i turn left, i cant let off the steering or it will go back to the right.

any answers?

Sounds like the servo horn isn't centered.

Remove the servo horn and make sure your servo will turn left and right. As long as it does, simply reposition the servo horn so the wheels are pointing straight ahead when the servo travel is centered.

Also, check the steering trim on your transmitter.

Take the servo horn off.

Make sure your steering trim is at 0

Turn on TX

Turn on power to the servo, letting it center.

Put servo horn back on.

Drive straight.

And, make sure you have the proper servo horn. Ditch the ones that come with the ax-10, and use one of the thick ones from the 645. Or, better yet, get an aluminum horn (make sure it's for a Hitec servo.)
