Default Whats best for mud?

I have a axial scorpion rtr and will be running it strictly in mud, snow and trail running. No rock running. What tire will give the absolute best traction in deep thick mud, some of it with deep water also. I also want the tire to be taller than the stock tires because I really need the clearance to get thru the deep water.

Ok so I was thinking some soft mud slingers but they are only 5 inches tall which is what the stock tires are. I noticed rc4wd has some tires called rock stompers and they are 5.5 inches in height. But will they give as good of traction that the mud slingers will?

I've had good luck with HPI's Mud Thrashers and Pro-Line's Masher 2000 on my Wheely King in the mud, but a little bit of power helps too

But like I said the mud slingers are the same height as my stock rock lizzards. I want something taller. I was wondering how the rc4wd rock stompers in the soft edition would work in mud. Just as good as the slingers?

Default Try This

Imex Swamp Dawgs or J-Dawgs. They look like the full size 4x4 tire, and work great.

The Imex tire looks great but a Proline M2000 will perform best.

Imex truck pullers are the best true mud tire I've had.

Super deep lugs (Mine are worn) Wide open tread. Mud goes flying in rooster tails.

RC4wd Slingers are not bad either as long as you have good speed behind them. Pullers will pull at any speed though.

Watch how the pullers throw cluds of mud over the body, while my Slingers also work they require momentum.

Pullers dig to china, Slingers slide through the mud maintaining flotation.

I used pullers and swamp dogs. The thicker the mud the better the pullers work.

Sorry for the ignorance, but are the smallest lugs (the ones without the little splits in them) what you mean? I have the soft 2.2's on my highlift (4 linked, locked diffs, 45T motor) but I drive mostly on loose surface, and they aren't gripping too well on climbs. Never cut treads before

Oh and to clarify, I am newish to this, so I haven't had years of collecting and trying different tires. Plus, in Australia, it takes weeks to get a new set delivered, so I'd rather not ruin them by cutting off the wrong bits

Im really digging my RC4WD Rok Lox, they are 5 3/8" tall and look like swamper IROCs. They clog up some in sticky mud, but that's what wheelspeed is for.

I would say the BEST mud tire would be some narrowed clodbuster tires, or the 'dually' tires by Imex. I have 2 sets of them, one on my F550 beast and another on my k5 blazer, they work best when you have some decent torque and some wheel speed, the mudslingers are nice looking, but unless you cut out the small lugs they clog up to easy.BTW they are 6" tall and roughly 2" wide.

Here's my rigs.
