Default Newb with an itch

Got an itch to get into an RC Crawler...I've had several RC cars/trucks over the years...I've always been into the real side of crawling and would like to have a new toy for around the house...Question is what would you recommend for a ready to run setup...I am trying to coax my fiance into getting me this for my bday, and I do not want her to deal with picking out ESC, motor, servo, etc...The only complete setup I have found that looks good is the Lose MRC...Any thoughts?

well are you looking for a 2.2 or 1.9? scale or comp? i see you want a mini rock crawler and they can be lots of fun if you dont have tons of places to drive and the market for them is exploding, its a good kit and if you dont like the 1.9 comp style chassis you cand get the TCS L-trail and turn it into a decent scaler, if you want a fairly good starter 2.2 id highly recomend the Axial RTC. i love my axial ax-10 is verry durable. and let me warn you crawling is verry addictive!

Default Axial RTC

Thanks for the advise...I've looked at this in the past and I do like the larger size than the Losi MRC...For some reason I thought they required more than just batteries...

Where is the best place to get the Axial RTC? Any recommended suppliers?

I love my ready to crawl. TCS has a great price on the RTC. The ESC is pretty bad and I would change at least the rear lower links to AL right from the start. Add weight to the front wheels and its good to go. I also reversed the polarity on the stock ESC to the motor as I did not like the double tap forward and no brakes forward just instant reverse. Basicly it is like a cheap Duratraxx just reversed at the motor.
