My Super with two Mamba Max's and two 55 Novaks, still rolls with 100% drag brake too...:-(
I'm not very happy with the Novaks, may change them soon.

also depends on how much you want...set it for 50 then run it...change it to 60 and so on. Make mental notes on how your rig runs on certain rocks.

only you can tell you how much you need. We can just be starters for you...

The drag brake will not stop the truck rolling - it's not a handbrake/parking brake. To stop the rig rolling on a hill, you need motors with more mechanical or magnetic resistance, or an ESC with a hill-hold function.

This question comes up a lot - there should be a sticky on drag brakes.

It would be nice if someone made an all inclusive "How, What, Why" on Drag Brakes.

The brakes in the Tekin FXR are much stronger than what Castle has to offer.

A setting of about 50%-60% is strong enough to hold a truck on a hill while using cheap Integy motors. A setting of 100% you will be doing flips The brakes are very strong

Castle are great products, but as was said by clockworks -

The castle ESC has no 'hill-hold' function, just drag brake.
