Default Looking to upgrade to 2.4ghz

I'm looking to upgrade to a 2.4 ghz system. Is the Big Offroader a good system? The price sounds nice for the amount of functions. I was also looking at the new Ko Propo, but there's a difference of $100. Any feedback would be appreciated.

The Airtronics MX3FHSS is a three channel 2.4ghz controller and it runs about 180 dollars but i've seen them for about $125

I don't know anything about any of those radios. I would love to know if they have the two features most important to crawling; 3 position 3rd channel and epa on each channel. If they don't, forget them.

I would find a used dx3 (not dx3.0) because they are easy to modify the third channel to a true 3 psition switch and fairly cheap for around 100. the big offroader is a 2 position and I dont know if it can be modded.

I have this radio and it does have EPA but not 3 position 3rd channel . http://www.rcrockcrawling.com/produc...roducts_id=885 It has worked great so far in my slash. Right now I can not recommend doing bussiness with these people though as I also bought a ESC from them at the same time and after about the 4th battery through it it burned up just plugging the batt in, was not even on yet. When I contacted them they said send it back so I did and have not heard from them since. Have tried emailing them. According to Fed Ex it was there on 7/9. They are the same people as RC4WD as the email I receved form thier CS came from RC4WD. Hopfully I will just get it in the mail soon but now with the return shipping it has already cost me as much as a better ESC.
