Default Looking for a crawler...

New here and I've been looking at the Ax10 crwlr. I already have the DTX and I know it's limit before dumping a ton of money in it. I am new with RC crawling and I am just feeling around for a good rig. Should I get the RTR or the orange ART AX10? Thanks in advance,

Personally, I think the ARTR has a few upgrades that make it a bit better than the RTR kit.

BTW, if you'd like to see either of these kits in action, TXRCO will be having a competition this coming Sunday (26th) at Spring Creek Off Road in Spring, Texas...

If you scroll down in this sections, theres at least 4-5 answers to this question in depth in the last 2 days

But the rtr is very capable right out of the box. If you think your going to want more, or to upgrade, go with the artr and get good electronics and such and go from there

For the money vs components, I would get the ARTR AX10 (orange one). It come with nice upgrades right out of the box. Like aluminum high clearance links, aluminum upper links, steering links, fairly decent tires and a better body for crawling. That's just my opinion.

I was super short on cash but wanted a platform I could easily upgrade later so I went with the RTC. Has plastic links like the RTR but is lower, has better shocks and the crawling body. I'll be at the comp Sunday and it will be the first time I have ever crawled outside my backyard
