Default JR-8711 with BEC?

OK, I am a total new-b and thought I would post this questions here. I have a Losi comp crawler, rooster controller with 55t motor, Losi 3300mah 2s battery, Spectrum DX3R radio and a JR-8711 servo for steering. It seems that when crawling and I get the front tires wedged (stalled) the servo is drawing so much current that the motor can barley function at all, I was told that a BEC between the battery and 8711 would remedy this problem. I have never installed a bec on only one servo before and was wondering how this is done. Thanks in advance for the help!!

the caste bec is programable to 10v i believe . you need a castle link to adjust it but its well worth the investment. i run my 8711 at 6v with the cbec . installation is easy and described on the pacakge .

if your a newb try to serch the site first to avoid flamage. most info can be foud with serch.
