Default FXR Problems.

Figure I'll throw this up here since Im not sure if it should go in electronics or not.

I've got a tekin fxr here that I picked up second hand. For some reason it seems as if the battery soldering pads(not the bar, the thing the bar is soldered to) has lifted and it will only work if you tap the esc. Is there any way to fix this? Like I said i picked it up second hand, and it seems that the red wire for the rx plug is completely removed, the switch is gone (no wires either). I'd like to either use it as a spare or sell it, but I'd like to know what I can do to fix it? Any way to get the pads back on the board?

Hows Tekin's repair service as well?

Thanks in advanced fella's.

sounds like the previous owner got the solder posts too hot and the trace lifted from the board. If thats the case, then way too much heat has been applied to the esc and its probably toast inside too. Did the previous owner say it was in good working order? If so I'd contact the seller and see about getting your cash back.

Send it to Tekin and get it fixed. I do not think they charge very much.

I got it a while back. It worked fine, but I've been using it alot so it's not to big of a deal. The esc works fine, just the contacts are messed up.
