Default Lipo chargers

I've been reading about lipo chargers and it seems there's lots of variety.
Any recommendations on a good lipo charger which won't break the bank?

I've got the racers edge charger it's ac/dc comes with a case and a squid. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Aluminum-Case I've also heard good stuff about duratrax onyx other than it doesn't balance.

If you want cheap and good quality, the chargery 608B is a good one. I have four, they are all accurate and built well for the price.

There are some Venom Pro chargers going pretty cheap on ebay these days. I just picked one up for a friend for only $45 shipped!

I should have also mentioned I want the charger to be AC/DC.

Looked at the racers edge and it looks good. Do you have a link to the 608b?

If AC/DC you want, then I'm partial to my Electrifly Triton EQ.

The team orion clubman advantage lipo edotion is kick ass it recognizes the battery and adjusts the settings and it is only 55 bucks new but it needs a power supply or it can hook up to a car battery

Just got back from the LHS and saw the triton eq, very nice charger but expensive. still undecided but the imax is a great price, probably worth waiting to save the money.

Did you get the imax from HK?

I would recommend the Racers Edge Surecharge 2000 Pro LiPo Balance Charger. Only because thats what I use and it works great. A little on the noisey side IMO from the cooling fan running on it. But I dont know how loud other chargers are, the only charger I had before this one had on fan. It comes with the power squid adapter so it will plup up to everything I have, and it will charge nicd, nimh, lipo, and life batterys. And comes with a nice case too.

I ended up buying the imax B6, waiting for it to arrive. It's pretty tough to justify paying 3 times the price from the LHS.

I also ordered a 3s 1500mah 30c battery.

The imax ac adapter is available for all countries, the one in the pics isn't always the one you get. If you read the details you'll usually find they offer adapters for USA/Canada.
