Yes it should be but I run the stock plastic spur on mine for a weak link in the drivetrain because I have the MIP steel driveshafts so the spur should strip before tranny gears go. Also my Integy spur was running out quite a bit it just wasn't machined very good.

hmmm, I have the heavy duty gear kit, so it should be OK? this is going to be a FOFF RC car with a SSpro 13.5T motor, so maybe I have to use the steel SPUR?

and I have noticed that i cant get the spur and pinion go smootly....? why is that exacly? makes much noise when i turn them and seems very hard to turn... wtf?

Because it was made by Integy.

really? omg... it sucks if its suposed to be like this...
can i use brushless and plastic spur then? this build is NOT crawling, but full throttle in the sand dunes.... will the plastic spur brake or what?

The plastic gears will survive fine. For running in the sand I would recommend switching to 32 pitch gears. The sand doesn't get stuck between the gears, causing them to strip, and they handle the power better.

The Axial tranny in my Trophy Truck has 32 pitch gears with a CC4600 on 3S LiPo and I have no problems at all. Especially in the sand.

To convert from 48 pitch to 32 pitch:
((48 pitch tooth count)/48 ) x 32 = 32 pitch tooth count

For an 84 tooth, 48 pitch spur:
84/48 = 1.75
1.75 x 32 = 56
So you need a 56 tooth, 32 pitch gear to give you the same diameter of gear.

For a 14 tooth, 48 pitch pinion do the same thing:
14/48 = .2916
.2916 x 32 = 9.3
So you need a 9 tooth, 32 pitch gear to give you the same diameter of gear.

You can see that the gear reduction remains basically the same:
84/14 = 6
56/9 = 6.2

hmmm, okey. that seems cool and im gonna take that into consideration. but where can i get a spur with 32 pitch with 56 tooth who fits AX10 tranny?

I agree, everything I've ever had integy, has been weak or not machined right. My honest opinion
