I don't have much cash for radio gear either, but in my opinion you don't really need anything too fancy for a crawler. I run an older Futaba 2ch am radio with the Futaba ESC that came with it. As for dual servos, I use a Y-Harness http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXL307&P=ML for my TLT and that works just fine with a 2ch setup |

I know some people don't like it when others tell them to use the Search function, but I really think it would help you out a lot. Sometimes you can find the information you need faster than waiting for someone to reply. Also, if you are just starting out in Radio Control, I would suggest reading up on it. There are many websites and magazines out there that have a ton of great info, and can help you out with everything from the most basic things to more advanced topics. A very good and popular magazine is RC Driver. You should be able to pick it up at your local grocery/department store or bookstore. |

For goodness' sake. Please learn to spell and punctuate. You're old enough to know how. Also, despite this being the newbie forum, take the initiative to search small scale and electronics. You will find much information of value. Also, consider eBay as an option for finding a TLT complete with electronics. A crawler will end up costing you a goodly amount to build unless you already have parts on hand from previous projects. Try to take a look at what others have done.

Allright here we go. Radio RXand TX with rear steering installed $65 front servo CS70 metal gear high torque $35 ESC controlls forward and reverse Streak $35 Integy lathe motor 55t $20 Tlt rockbuster $80 Battery tower 1500mah $9 charger Hpi overnight wall charger $8 I couldn't bring it under your $200 limit. If you buy some stuff used you could get it under $200. To have rear steering added it will cost another $35 so I just left it out. The radio is allready set up for 4 wheel steering for when you get money for a servo. Cole Last edited by Cole82; 12-02-2005 at 10:13 PM. |

That is the cheaper stuff it will work for you. It's just not top of the line. RTR it's about $250 to your door.
