Default Redcat racing

Has anyone tried a Redcat Racing Rockslide? I am looking for an entry level "ready to crawl" crawler and I saw this one. It looks good but I can't find any info on it. I want something durable and it must have readily available parts. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Just get an axial ax10. Parts are EVERYWHERE for them.

Redcat RS10 revisited

That's a link to my thread on my RS10. It shows the little odds and ends I've done to mine. You can also search "rs10" and see other threads about these rigs that other folks have made.

If people aren't finding parts for these crawlers...they're either not looking well at all, or they're not willing to experiment. I've had no problem finding things that work for them, and the rigs work quite well with minor tweaks. I've upgraded practically everything on mine aside from the axles, so I know parts are out there. These rigs may not have "readily available parts" in tons of colors like axial, but most of the electronics are universal, as well as things like tires and some of the nice aftermarket wheels. You're just not gonna be able to find aluminum axle housings or a few other small things. As far as durability is concerned...I've been running mine for 4-5 months and haven't broken anything on it yet. The only problem I've had was a receiver going bad and that was a very cheap fix. I say go for it, it's a nice crawler for the price and with minor upgrades can be made even nicer. good luck
