Default Redcat RS10 Problems

Ok, so I took my rs10 rock crawling a few times and I thought it was great with my new HB rovers on, but now on a fully charged battery it goes fine forward and for some odd reason it goes really slow in reverse for the first 5 minutes and then it doesn't even reverse at. It also barley turns right. Also my remote keeps beeping (does this mean it needs new batteries?) Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

When I first put rovers on my RS10 the steering wasn't that good unless I was moving...does the steering to the right problem only happen when you're at a stand still or while moving? For the remote beeping...it could either be the batteries are low...or you may be hitting the little buttons on the remote accidentally...everytime you press one of them the remote should beep.

The servos are the weak point - they will hardly turn stock tires without moving - stronger servos help.

^^ x2 on the servo thing. my buddies put those $35 metal ones from hitec 645 somethings. they also eliminated the rear stearing. way stronger than stock. moves his rovers around nicely

The steering barely turns right even when I'm moving. Does This mean I need a new servo? Also reverse going slow and then not going at all after 5 min. Does this mean i need a new esc or motor?

I'm not sure on the motor question, but a new servo could fix that problem for you. My stock one had a rough time turning my rovers also and I went for a hitec 645mg and it works a ton better now. I would either post in the electronics section about your reverse not working...or e-mail redcat about it.

Buy yourself a Losi comp crawler or Axial and rid yourself of the trouble.
