Hello, I'm looking to get my first crawler. I'm however stuck between two. the losi night crawler rtr and the traxxas summit. I would like your opinion on each. I like things about each and dislike stuff as well. LNC: it's a true crawler and can take terrain better. it has a large tire selection to pick from. and is much cheaper and has a 2.4 gig radio, keep it away from water though. summit: it's larger. almost no after market. can bash with it then go crawling at the flip of a switch. costs much more. is water proof. crappy radio gear. that's not everything but like I said I've never crawling before. so I'd like your input on each. I like the summit because if I don't like crawling I can still bash. but I've read it's not much of a crawler vs the night crawler. please help a crawling noob |

here's an entertaining thread to help you understand just how sick that traxxas rig is, and how it's owning any other rig out here... traxxas summit iS everything a crawler is....and then some enjoy  |

IMO...if you have a basher truck or a few basher trucks you will want to go with the LNC. if you are a competitive type of person....go with the LNC because you are going to want it to perform well. If you want just something to bash and crawl at an okay status go with the summit. The summit is nice, but I might get one to see how it really performs. I have 3 crawlers....2 on roads....1 buggy....3 monster trucks, etc... I still would get the LNC over the summit...based on my liking of losi and their deisgn. Very similar to the LCC but for a beginner you will have a lot of fun with it. |
