Default total newbie needs help.....

ok guys herre it gose i just found out about the rc rock crawling nation you guys have and ive looked at some of the pre-built rc's avalible and none of them look like something id want so heres my question i used to build alot of model cars and stuff and i had an old 68 or 69 c10 body out in the shop that looks like something i would want that has the potential to be B.A so i was wondering if you guys would have an idea of how hard it would be to build a scale crawler out of it. i have plenty of tools at my disposal so thats not really an issue for me. the only things that are an issue is money and inteligence, normally i only work on 1:1 trucks and cars but i saw these lil dudes on xtreme 4x4 and i just had to check them out so any help is greatly welcome
here are some pics of the body:

Well I would imagine you want to build a scaler. If so then you need to figure out the scale of the body you have then buy a crawler that is close in scale to put it on. I assume your body is 1/25 scale or close. Losi is coming out with a a 1/24 scale crawler that would be almost perfect for the body you have.

Here is where you need to start looking for how to's and info on scale rigs.

Almost all of the guys on here are really helpful and will try to point you in the right direction.

What are you looking to make from that body? A scale version of a 1:1 you have, or just a rig you would like to own?

Or are you thinking a full blown comp rig with a bad a$$ Chevy on it for a lid?
