A chassis, or "like a tuber".??? which one is it? 1/8" material::: What kind of material? Details are kind of important if you want to get good answers. Just like you can't make your first post: "What crawler should I get?"
It helps to know where you wheel, what type of terrain and the purpose of your build. Comp? Basher? Both? Scale look? Details, Details, Deatails.

3/16 brake line is also a commonly used size. 1/4 is a little more solid 3/16 is a little more scale. The strength of both depends on your ability to engineer the cage.
