Berg vs. Bully??

Summary, just in case that thread is too complicated

Most will argue Bergs are the best because of their lighter weight and turning radius, but the internals need upgrading.

Bullys are ready to go right out of the box, but they are heavy. RC4WD just released machined Bully axles which are lighter but more expensive.

Most durable stock would be bully. If ya are gonna comp they wouldn't be what I'd be looking at. :-P

lol yea sorry i didnt even think to look it up. id like to comp every now and then but not always. i just stripped my trsnny gears in my axial and im not happy lol so i want something more durable yet not too heavy. my current rig is 7 lbs so idk how comparable that would be to a bully equiped rig

8 lb range on average. Some people have been able to get them to 6-7lbs though.

you might as well do it right the first time and get H-Rs, with berg guts.my crawler is 6lbs 8 oz.
narrower, lighter and with berg guts which will soon have sd300s from super dave they can't be beat.

Berg, I have beat the snot out of them and they hold up to the abuse just fine.

I would try a Bully if all the Bully owners wern't trying to shove it down my throat.

run with berg it is probably the best just remember to clock the axles especially if you get the hr axles!!!!!

I've been around about a year now, and En Route berg axles seem to hold up well. Some guys change a few things (stubs), but the options seem endless

look at this kid thinkin he know's all!!!!!!!! especially when he's a shafty driver! yes unfortunately he's mine!
i have berg and hr i love my bergs, and hr's but if i had to choose i would do hr's w/berg gears and super 300's there's much more to try and get the berg more narrow, hr's are as close to shafty width as you can get!
and you can go wider if ya need instead of figurin out how narrow you need on a berg, plus axial wheels work well on hr's
so long story short
to keep cost down go hr
