the pitch is the spacing of the teeth. a 48 pitch pinion will only work with a 48 pitch spur gear, a 32 pitch pinion will only work with a 32 pitch spur...

I use a 12T pinion on my TXT and it works great, make sure you get the pitch right for your truck when you order it, TXT-1 is 32 pitch. (thats if you have a TXT)?

if you are running the stock tlt spur gear then you need to look for a metric 48 pitch gear. what you can do is get a new spur and a new pinion with a more common pitch like 48 or 32, but its up to you on that one scott |
