Exclamation Help with my xmas present!!!!!!!

i got a scx10 tr and i need to know what battery are you guys using, i only have about a $100 BUDGET, So i need help and any free mods you guys could help me with?

i am assuming this is your first rig since you dont have a battery, i would recomend getting a nmhi battery at first cause of how easy they are to use. i use a venom 5000 mah. battery

Yep, I think radio shack sells GP3300 packs for like 15 bucks. Check there, or get the venom pack and a decent charger. Get like an onyx 210, its basic and cheap. Will get the job done.

i have a losi mrc charger, which is rated for 7.2 volts, will that work?

A wall wart? It'll take forever but if you buy a 7.2 volt NiMH battery it will work.

no im going to my lhs tomorow to buy a batterie, so any 7.2v charger will charge any 7.2v battry as long as u have the same connectors?

Yep.

Get me some numbers off the charger and I can tell you how long it will take to charge the battery you get.

Looking for amp output specifically. Might look like Mah out.

Thank you, that was driving me nuts too!

And my vote is for NiMH as well. If you are new to the hobby, or on a budget, NiMH are safe, great run times, and no danger of screwing them up.
