I say go Sidewinder . I have the Sidewinder, and castle link. I Just downloaded there newest version, V3.23 . I have it set too "crawl full on". Now the drag break has super holding power... I'm really happy with it , no problems, and it's easy to program.

I first started with a Novak Rooster Crawler esc. Is a nice esc with strong braking.

When I got my LCC I ordered a Castle Creations Sidewinder. This is a much better esc then the Rooster because of the ability to program it. It has a higher lipo capacity too.

Get the Sdewinder and the link for programming, you will be satisfied...

x2 on the sidewinder. I think its really awesome for the price! If your looking to go brushless, then I would say Mamba Max or Goat 3s. Sidewinder will do sensorless brushless, but not sensored. FX-R would be a good choice too, but brushed only.

Choices choices. Too many to make, yeah, I know! I allready had a sidewinder so I went 12t colbalt puller brushed motor. Love it! Great wheel speed and tons of torque. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably do a brushless goat system. Someone thats allready upgraded a NC needs to chime in here. I'm running LCC with different gear ratios. You have to think of where you want go with it and buy the right esc accordingly.

With the losi ya really need to go brushless! I have seen too many brushed setups go up in smoke in them. I recommend a tekin rs setup but there are other senored systems for less.

Possibly the greatest brushed only ESC ever:

http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...4&cat=0&page=1

I believe Holmes said he'd have some in soon.

You can try here as well: http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Holmes-Ho...f-p-18064.html

FXR is nice, but not this nice.
