most likely the 16 tooth faster than the 14 tooth but the 14 tooth will have more toque you may not notice immediately but the difference will be there and in my experience doesnt matter what one you choose you will be in a situation and wish you had the advantage of the other one

It all depends on what your axial is doing. If you don't have the wheel speed that you need to make it thru some area, then bump up a tooth or 2.
But if you have the wheel speed but your rig gets stuck and is lacking torque, you don't need to bump up your pinion.
Just post what it's doing and what you want, and I'm sure someone can help you.

sometimes when climbing something my wheels will bind as if it doesnt have the power to turn them so I end up having to back up a little and hit the obstacle with speed to bounce my front wheels over, Id much rather climb than have to jump over things but apparently my current set up doesnt have the power I think it should have lol I just thought a 14T would help with this..

It could possibly help, if that's part of the problem.

Rig specs?

Sounds like you need more power IE.. torque!!! 55t motor or a lower pinion.

part of your problem is you are using an on road sport esc,,,you need one for crawling that has high voltage low current output for crawling,,the Tazer is made for going fast not for crawling,,,if the rig is fast enough for you now then change motors to a 55t or 65t and try your existing pinion,,,or change out the esc to something like a Rooster crawler or HH torque master that is suited for crawling

plus the Tazer has brake delay which you dont want when crawling,,and you will want drag brake
