Default 120mm shocks vs 90mm and 100mm

Im currently building a tuber and im using the stock ax10 120mm shocks. correct me if im wrong on them being 120mm. If i goto a 90mm or 100mm Im pretty sure ride height is dropped. But my question is will it affect the flexin.

Guess im say will it take away some flex compared to the 120mm shock.

I seemed to want to think it wouldnt, it just make the tires closer to the body but not sure so need so help before i mess up and waste money on something i may not use.

less shock equals less travel equals less articulation/flex
