| Losi Night Crawler
Does the Losi Night Crawler have a 2 or 3 channel tx/rx? If it is 2, is there anything out of the box that offers 3?

I really want something to play with out of the box and I am ultimately trying to determine what the best bang for my buck is...Do you think I would be more satisfied with the Losi Night Crawler or the Axial RTC? I want to run a Lipo pack and eventually set up for front and rear dig...

Comp Crawler huh? What are the benefits to going with this over the Night Crawler...Seems like it would be more expensive...I don't necessarily need the dig functions right away, but I would like to add them in the future

don't forget that with the losi's dig and worm gears you get no free wheeling option. like for instance, if you want to use front dig to go up an incline you'd be dragging your locked rear uphill. plus worm gears are unefficient and to get good use from them it is preferable to run a brushless motor with a 3s lipo. i would go with the axial since it's your first, then you can upgrade to fit your driving style. so far the axial has lots more aftermarket support.

the worm gears are inefficient, create lots of drag and heat. they will destroy themselves if not properly lubed. the brushless motors create alot of torque so are used to make up for the drag that is created.
