Question Water Proof

Um, im gonna waterproof my Axial, but im jus wonderin if the hot glue gun will melt the insulation around the wires and such Help would be appreciated

i used mostly dielectric grease for my servo, just open up you're servo pack it with the dielectric (clear stuff you can buy at most hardware store) close it and you're ready to go. As for the reciever and ESC all i use was a small hobby box i got from radio shack drill the holes for you're cables, silicone all the openings, just make sure you've still got access to you're esc not overheating or anything this could be a factor, because your losing your ventilation.

and yeah the hotmelt glue should be fine

You should be fine with the hot glue. Personally I've always used plasti-dip/liquid electrical tape and have had great results. I have sumbmerged my reciever in water for over 30 minutes with power to it the whole time and it continued to work great. Dielectric grease also works very well as stated above.
