Default Discharge rate

I am running a 55t novak motor and a rooster crawler. I have a 2s lipo 1200 mah 35c with continuous 60c burst. Is this going to damage the motor if I use this? I was reading that you can hurt the motor if the discharge rate is too high.
thanks

No,The pack does not "discharge" into your esc/motor.The C is how many amps you can draw from the pack safely.

Yup, the discharge rate of the pack is how rapidly your motor/servo/esc etc can safely discharge your pack. It doesn't mean your pack is going to discharge at that given rate all the time. So you won't cook your electrics with a pack rated for high discharge.
