Question In Comp can you put weight in the tires?

I know this is an odd question for a newb, but I was looking at the usrcca 2010 rules for the 2.2 class and could not determine if it was legal to put additional weight in your tires, I believe in other forums I have read people put 7.5 oz in the front per tire and 3 in the back per tire. Competition is completely new to me and the rules for the 2.2 class seemed fairly open and left a lot of leeway as far as modifications that could be made. I know they say vehicles can only be two wheel steering, does that mean no digs?
Thanks for any info.

You can add weight to the tires and you can also have a dig.
