3 things here....

1- 80 days WTH the wait is killing me already!!

2- to many black lines, although im liking the hinting of going fast

3- and ill probably get flammed for this or whatever, but not really digging the cheapshot... "golfers and their mistresses" just think its uncalled for. just my opinion.

80 days though? wtf! they should have just WAITED on the announcement till 10 days before release or something. now it's not intriguing, it's annoying

I say its a short course truck. I've heard a while ago they were "thinking" of making that step. Going fast is another clue

I agree 80 days is way excessive. The ad says "Approved for release date: Feb 2010." Eighty days will be in May, not February. Nothing wrong with building the anticipation of a new release, but this is just stupid. I could understand if they announced in Feb what the new release(s) would be and they didn't show up on shelves until May, but now I'm just annoyed. Bad marketing here, IMHO.

Does anyone else think this is going to be competition for the Traxxas Summit? The "crate" is being dropped into snow, hinting at maybe a waterproof vehicle? Would like to see some expansion in this class...

+1 that would be very nice to see, a competition for the Summit,
i doubt it will be another crawler, or a remake of a current one(like a new body or new electronics) cause the item code for their crawlers end with a "16" this one ends with a "17" as seen on the crate
this may sound crazy, but maybe a Scaler that can handle turning at speeds of 30+mph and not fliping?
