Default BEC question, is 5V 3A enough??

I saw this UBEC 5V 3A product and it has this specs:

Compact Switching BEC
• 5-23V
• 2-5S LiPo, 5-15 NiMh
• 11.5g including ferrite ring, wire and connector.
• Output: 5V, 3A continuous

Is this good enough for my MOA ... i have 2 servos btw for the 4WS too. Pls advise. thanks.

after installing my 2 servos and using them for awhile, my servo start to glitch and almost to the state of stop moving. I thought my lipo ran out juice, but my friend said i need BEC. so

yeah.. here i am asking newbie question. next i will be asking about the wiring diagram for sure

Rather be safe than sorry and a get a CC 10A BEC!

Castle has a wiring diagram on their website and provides you with one in the packaging, it pretty simple to install...

Do yourself a favor and get the Castle unit. More amperage available and the voltage output is adjustable. You will need someone with a Castle Link or need to pick one up to program it. They come set to 5 volts. You use to be able to get the BEC from John(Holmes Hobbies) and he would adjust it for you before he shipped.

IMO, no 5V is not enough. Most high torque servos can easily run 6V....

It's the 3 amp spec that will fry the esc and/or servo with two big servos that want up to 5 amps each. Just get the cc 10 amp bec!

is the 5V enough? my servo rated at 14kg @6V.. meaning if the input only 5V... the pull will be lesser than...

but what do i know.. if it works with you guys... i go for it..

and for the AMP.. yes i agree. the more the better... 10A looks awesome to my 2 servos!!

thanks...
