Any TLT project post in the small scale crawler section probably has a pede trans.

Some people use E-Maxx trannies, Associated, Losi, or even three-speed trannies in thier TLTs as well. But yes, by far the most widely used is the Magnum 272 - Traxxas' Stampede/Rustler/Bandit transmission. They are readily available, small, simple, tough, and can accept sliders.

Plus, they are called Magnums. Every guy on here has always looked for an excuse to purchase a Magnum. You don't realize the looks I get at work when I say " I had to purchase another Magnum this weekend ". Yeah baby.
