not all of its weight is that high and a normal lexan truck body for like a tmaxx weighs a bit over 200grams so its not much more than a normal body

I have one on mine its pretty light and durable. It looks good but its pretty expensive. I made body panels out of the container it came in. I also I cut it a little so I could mount it lower. I'll post some pics soon.

Nice ride Scouperacer! I like the colour of the panels. Although I couldn't help but notice the old style Tamiya plug on your esc/bat? Chop those guys off and run some Deans or Traxxas connectors! Is it a racer or a crawler? Rock racer? |

My lhs has one set up on an ax-10 it looks great, and seems very durable! I picked the rig up by one of the top tubes and it took the weight of the roller without flexing at all.

Did anyone notice there asking price is higher than the list price they have listed. At the very least that makes for a good laugh. Also whats that plug your talking about i'm learning stuff here.

Tried the Pro-Line setup. Here's my opinion. If you run it exactly as you purchased, battery pretty much located in the stock location, your CG is already pretty high, so the vehicle will perform very similar to a stock AX10 with the battery mounted in the stock position. If you do about one day of any type of serious rock crawling, you will soon be looking for ways to mount the battery lower--quickly. You can prove this to yourself by driving an AX10 RTR back to back with the SCX10 Honcho RTR and you will find that even the Honcho has a lower and better battery placement than the stock AX10 crawler. The picture above shows a stick pack mounted on the rear axle, better, but not as good as running a small LiPo pack on the front axle with the Axial low cg battery mount or BTA kit. My guess is that the setup above will climb about 35 degrees tops before the front wheels start picking up. For a clean, out of the box, bolt-on scale tuber look, this is a good buy if you are looking for that rock buggy look--just don't expect groundbreaking performance with that particular setup. | |

Junk. It's pointless. Just a cool factor nothing more.
