Default Losi Night Crawler esc

My buddy has a LNC and the esc went out on it and he asked me to post on here for recommendations for a new one.

I just realized I am a noob but this is in the wrong section sorry.

Castle sidewinder or Mamba max would work. Novak rooster crawler. No need to set the drag brake on them.

even a traxxas xl-5 would work. options are pretty unlimited. But I would suggest something lipo compatiaple.

Where you posted this is just fine, noob section is here for a reason, to get help.

He might think about getting a sensored brushless and a cheap sensored brushless motor (like for hobby city). I went this rout on my lnc and could not be happier and it was all for a around 150$.

It depends on how much you want to spend, I went with a Mamba monster pro and http://hobbycity.com/hobbyking/store...Motor_w/sensor this motor. I have 1 comp and some bashing on it and am veryhappy with it so far (long term is still up in the air for the motor). Used setups can be had in the classifieds (if you have a star or 50 posts and 30 days). I think top of the line is goat 3s system, or the losi system, or teckin all these will run close to $200.
