Default Will FXR run 3s lipo ?

OK Boys

Will the Tekin FXR run 3s lipo ? The manual says that the FXR Pro will. But has anyone tried the FXR. I just smoked my 2s and am thinking about more power.

Cheers

It will but I believe the recommended motor limit is a 35t I ran a fxr with a 35t and 3s lipo with no issues until I got a Holmes Torquemaster

You may need an external BEC. I switched to 3S with FXR and 55T combo and got some weird stalls. Installed CC BEC and all seems to be ok.

Been running an FXR & 55T for several months with zero issues, I do have a Castle BEC hooked up also.

Yes the FXR will handle 3S lipo but you will HAVE to install a BEC. The FXR will also handle 4S but is limited to only 55T motors

Been running a FXR on my berg with two 35t handwound motors for a while now.

I do know of a few people running 4s on them with 45t's also with a bigger cap.

I'm running a 65T at the moment and have just added a CC BEC so that side of things are covered . Now time to find me a 3s that fits in OZ. That's the hard part. Anyone tried the turnigy stuff ?
