I have 6 or 7 of these servos among others and have had zero problems with any of them in over a year of abuse. If you want a 224 oz-in servo for very little money, look here. http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...products_id=18 Price: $21.99 + $5.50 shipping = $27.49 shipped. Specs: This standard-sized analog servo features: - Full metal gears with bearings - Multiple servo horns and mounting hardware. Servo uses Futaba servo horns. - Standard size: 1.6”x0.8”x1.5” (40.8x20.1x38mm) - Weight: 1.98 oz (56g) - Operating Speed @ 5V: 0.18sec/60 deg. - Operating Speed @ 7.2V: 0.16sec/60 deg. - Stall Torque @ 5V: 208 oz-in (15 kg/cm) - Stall Torque @ 7.2V: 224 oz-in (16.1 kg/cm) - Operating Voltage: 5-7.2V |

995's are definatly junk. I bought 4 of them about a month ago, and only 1 is still surviving. They are only used in 1.9 trail rigs as well, and they still took a crap on me. Just buy a decent hi-tec and be done |

I've been running TP 955's for years ZERO issues. Heavy use in my clod comp truck and in my scaler which i beat the snot out of, completely submerged in water every time i run it. And the servos has not been waterproofed or cleaned ever! But the one in my scaler just crapped out both bearing were seized and rusted but i wouldnt classify this breakage as an issue just plum wore out (after 1.5 years of abuse). I kinda think it's the luck of the draw with these TP servos. But they're cheap enough to roll the dice. | |
