| JR XS3 TO DX3E...best price for dx3e
I am thinking about giving my xs3 to my daughter for her rc and getting a dx3e for my crawler. I run a goat system with a dna dig and would like to go 2.4 on it. Would this be a great upgrade from my xs3? it doesnt take crystals but it is still only fm synthesized. if i have researched right,.,.,the dx3e has a 3 position 3rd channel? currently i only have a 2 position 3rd. also has anyone found a price better than $99 anywhere? |

i have also been turned on to the Futaba 3PM-X. I am ordering a couple things from tower for a friend and i could add this to the order and get $40 off and free shipping so it would only be $140. Just no servo with it. Will normal servos work these radios? |

the 3PM series of radios (both FM and 2.4) are nice entry level 3 ch. digital radios, but the only gripe i had about mine when i had it was i felt the display was a bit confusing, and hard to read. if i go back with a futaba, i think i am going to go with a 3PK. yeah a bit more money, but, a nicer and easier to use screen.

| xs3 to dx3e or futaba 3pmx
i was reading and they seem to be getting pretty good reviews. I was just thinking for $40 more than the dx3e it may be the better deal. I really didnt want to even spend $100 on a new radio, i know i am cheap....but if the futaba is alot better than the dx3e then i would go ahead and spend the extra $40 Quote:

ok i am ordering some stuff for a few friends from tower hobbies and i can get he futaba for myself for $110. SInce i have 3 people i am ordering for, i figure i will get the $$60 off coupon and use it for myself. Since i am the one who paid for the super saver club i think its fair so now i just have to decide,,dx3e or 3pmx |
