Default New motor

I have a stock Axial RTC with the 55t motor but I'm ready to buy a new esc and motor. I have decide to buy the Tekin fxr combo but can not decide whether or not to go with the 45t or 35t (not the pro models). My battery is a 6c 4600mah nimh. Any advice would be great. Thanks

id go with the 35t fxr pro combo and run a 3s lipo you wont regret it

id try to go with a nice hand wound 45t or 35t motor

i run a hand wound JPH 37t on 3s and its amazing

No need for the fxr-pro on a single motor axial. I'd go with the normal 45t/fxr combo (the pro combos still come with a non-pro fxr but a handwound motor) on nimh for some extra torque. When ya move up to 3s lipo it will be plenty of wheelspeed for crawling. In a scaler the 35t would be a better choice. While guys love to spend other people's money there is really no need for a handwound with nimh (or in any crawler) either.
