| Wheel weights. How much is to much?
I dropped my wheel weight in my crawler and it is performing much better. I dropped a couple of ounces and viola. Question then. How much is to much in terms of wheel weight?

this is one of those questions that has no real answer.... every rig is deffernt, what works for some one may not work for some one else... but if your breaking parts every time u go out becuze of wheel weights, then u have to much!! my front wheels/tire combo is about 16oz per side, it works for me, in my crawler with 3s and 35t hand wound i dont hammer down and hope for the best i am a bit more technical so the weight works for me..... in my scale i have 0 weight in my wheels, but thats running an 18.5t ballistic motor on 4s so super heavy wheels would just destroy the drive train |

i have 2 oz in the front wheels, i didnt realize that the tire weights i had were stainless steel instead of lead, so they're only a quarter once each. however, the 2 oz is too much weight for my crappy servo and i can barely turn the tires.
