A DIG is a mechanical or electronic device that locks up or freewheels one set of axles. This allows that axle to act as a pivot point so that you have a much tighter turning radius.

Dig unit should allow 4wd,front wheel drive only and front wheel drive with the rear locked.

Normally you drive in 4wd.

Front wheel drive (front dig) with the rear locked or unlocked can be used for many different things. Turning, climbing, unsticking a stuck wheel in a hole, side hills, pushing the front or rear into better position.....are most of the uses you'll see. Lots of practice can show you how beneficial it can be. No crawler or scale truck should be without dig.

With a dig set up,you'll see better performance with more wheel speed. Slow set ups will dig decent. A good amount of wheel speed will make your front digs allot better. You'll be able to dig faster and in some cases turn sharper.

yes, it will work perfectly. The 3 position 3rd channel is what you need.

35 turns are decent. Best if run on 3 or 4 cell lipos geared up a shade.
