Default Can an SCX10 Chassis be a Decent 2.2" Scale Rig?

I have an older SCX10 the retro truck with wheelbase of 11.4" I believe...currently running 2.2 Rok Lox on OEM Internal Beadlocks with star cut foams and weighted fronts.

I definitely need to stretch the wheelbase out to around 12.3" maybe 12.5". I run MIP shafts up front and Junfac Carbon Steel shafts in the rear. I want a hard body just can't decide what to look for to match those super tall Rok Lox.

I had no idea they were so tall. Love the tires though!

Any suggestions?

i think the tundra body is to small for the 2.2 roc loks... but thats my .02... to make the 2.2 roc loks work it needs a truggy build of some kind...

heep or bronco style truggy would be nice...

Tubers look great with tall tires . You can use the scx frame and build a tuber over that . The truggies look great as well . Also I have seen the New Bright Jeep JK with tall tires and it looked like a beast . In 1.1 , Jeeps often have that huge tire look because they are small . Even though the JK is one of the larger Jeeps .
