Tekin will work. It can take up to 3s lipos and it's small size is perfect for any rig.

Take the turns of the motors ya are gonna run and divide by 2. If the esc is rated for the turn motor it is ok. 45t motors need an esc rated for a 22.5t motor. Ya also want an esc rated for at least 3s lipo with lipo cutoff, instant reverse and drag brake. Popular crawler esc are torquemaster, fxr & sidewinder.

I have Tekin FXR's in my 2.2 comp, 2.2 sportsman, 1.9 scaler, and am putting one in my 2.2 scaler that I am currently building. I have nothing bad to say about them.

You will get a lot of answers on a question like this. It is like asking 10 people "what brand of vehicle do you prefer?". You will get 10 different answers.
