Default ummmm

That's a big NO on the 10cell NIMH, that's old school junk. Go with a 3-4c lipos. I'm sure someone is going to post "hey man, it's your decision, both lipos and NIMH batteries have their good and bad points...blah blah blah" Lipos are far superior to NIMH, end of story. Go to hobbypartz.com to get get some cheap, yet good, lipos and Thunder charger.

with an external lipo cutoff u can run 3s lipo. even though thwe motors say only good to 7cell nimh they will run on more voltage just fine but they just dont last quite as long till needing rebuilt

Lipo's are the only way to go! They are starting to make and release C ratings of 90 with a charge rate of 15C!!!!!!!!!!!! Crazy powerful sh!t!

Can't compare NMH anymore. Next big thing with probably be LiFe batts. That is if they can bring the heavy pigs down in weight?!!
