Default Motor

Hi all XR10 owners. My new EX10 will be here soon. I am going to run the CC SIDEWINDER and want to know what turn motors to run. This is my first MOA rig so I want to get it right.

Well my opinion cause u will only be running the sidewinder which will get warm pushing two motors. I use the mamba max but u can achieve a decent temp with 55 to 65 turn motors in my opinion that is what u had to do with my losi moa!! So just see if anyone else has run them in this rig yet!! Hope for the best!!

Thanks guys. I like your setup motorman. I think I'll ditch the sidewinder and get an fxr pro.

Never had a single prob from my Sidewinder. Ran it w/2 55t motors for over 2 years on my berg. The example above was heating up because of the worm gears.

The sidewinder will be fine with a couple 45t motors on 3s as long as ya have a ccbec. The fxr pro is smaller and easier to program but for a single esc rig size isn't such a problem.

Ok I thought the worms were his problem. I guess I'll just put the sidewinder back on the work bench.
