I may be wrong here, but don't all associated offroad buggies and trucks use a variation of the stealth tranny? If yes, then it has been used before by a few people. check out this thread New Comp Style Crawler |

I'm building a TLT using a B4 tranny right now. I won't know how it works until it's completed, but it fits very well into a modified stock chassis and is a lot smaller, smoother and I believe stronger than a Stampede tranny. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

look on page 5 and page 8 of benders sw2 venders thread there is an 1/8 scale buggy based sw2 that is brushless in there, so in answer to your question YES it can be done, I just welded a set of steel traxxas yokes to a xxxt trans and they work awsome, borrowed the idea from chino63, you could do the same thing to the stealth.......halfcab
