Default shock fix

i have a set of factory axial shocks and the cap and the body keep pulling apart. i kinda like how they have been performing since the new springs. i have looked around and it seems common every one says buy new ones, but im not going to do that until its time for a new chassis. at the moment i dont want to replace, are there any fixes the keep them from doing that?

thanks

CA glue or some two part epoxy. They probably wont come apart again though. I've used thread locker to some success if you have aluminum bodies and a bit of red thread lock on plastic bodied shocks.

The traxxas aluminum caps work great. The only problem is the traxxas caps dont have the same mounting.. Check them out at your hobby store you will see.

Try thred tape wrapped around the threded portion of the shock body before you replace the cap.
