| Esc capable of > 3S and Brushless/Brushed???
Is there an ESC that is capable of holding more than 3S lipo that is also capable of powering brushless and brushed motors? If so what and where are they? Thanks

The Mamba Monster is a sweet ESC but the Mamba Max Pro will do the job if you're using a 1/10th scale motor. http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...a_max_pro.html |

I am building a Ax10 based Moonbuggy and I would like to experiment with both brushless and brushed motors later on. I also would like to try more than 3S.

Get the Mamba Max Pro 1 cell version, and get a Castle BEC, cause you'll need the external BEC anyways, so you might as well get the lighter, more streamlined ESC. http://www.castlecreations.com/produ...o-onecell.html |

The mamba max pro is the best esc I've owned. I currently run 2-21 turn 550s on 3 and 4 cell with no problems. I've also run some nice brushless motors for extended time with no issues. If space is an issue go with the 1 cell version. The external bec is necessary with high torque or multiple servoes so grab that up either way. Goodluck and remember to post pics.

Another vote for the Mamba Max Pro, I use several of them. I really enjoy the capability of sensored brushless for crawling and the adjustability with the castle link is great.
