| Need help with crawler selection
Want to get a crawler, but i'm not sure which is the best to suit me. There are so many different ones out there. I don't plan on doing any type of comp, just want something for the back yard. Maybe later on if i like it, i may think about comp.

I have asked this question to. most say get and Axial RTC or if you want a scaler to get the SCX10. I personally am saving up the extra money to get the SCX10. good luck with your decision. |

I say do plenty of reading on here, then think about what type of crawler you like the most (comp style or scaler), then do more research, figure out a budget you're willing to spend up front, and decide from there. If you get something like a honcho, just because someone tells you to, you might not be happy with it. Don't get me wrong, honchos are awesome...but if you're not into scalers it's not a good choice for you. If your budget allows it...get a kit of some kind, that way you can select better electronics from the get go, and you get to build the crawler so you'll become more familiar with it and will be comfortable tearing it down if something should go wrong. |

Axial is probably your best choice my scx works great the ax10 will do all the scx does but will crawl bigger rocks more easy

Thanks guys for all the input. I will definitely get a kit of some kind. I love to build rc stuff, thats the best part. Sounds like the axial is pretty popular and has lots of hop up stuff.
