|  would this work?
if you were to put a summit trans into a crawler and also put a dig on it would that work? I was thinking of making a dual purpos rig that could be a comp crawler and a basher/scalerish? it would have a 45t motor with the low gears of the trans to be like a comp crawler and the high gears to be close to the same as a 35t motor? And also lets say i made a cage that could fit all of that. would it work?  |

You would need to build a shaft dig as there is no dig available for a Summit trans. Also, a dual purpose rig really isn't going to be great at either purpose. A summit trans is too big to be competitive in a comp rig really.
