Post RC Crawler From Scratch

Hi everyone. Well, I decided to build my own desing of a scale crawler. I was wondering how simple or hard a desing can be, what are some things that I should take in mind, and what are good parts that are really hard to make that I could use. I'm thinking more of a scaler than a crawler though.

the amount of engineering and research and testing etc that goes into making a crawler "from scratch" is literally impossible so you have some questions to start out with

what axles do you want? most scalers right now seem to be running ax10 axles

you can prob make your own ladder frame chasis

then you need to decide if youre gonna run shocks all around or leafs out back or leafs all around

gonna need an axial transmission

gonna need wheels and tires

waterproof electronics are reccommended

body (and interior if your going really scale)

honestly i'd start with a kit like a honcho if its your first experience with it
