| Lipo battery question.
I am running lipo 1300 packs on my AX10. I left the power on one time and now when i try to charge thaT battery it just says weak battery and will not let me charge it. It charges my other lipo fine. I guess this means I drained it to low . Thanks in advance for any suggestions other than buy a new pack LOL |

Buy a new pack. Seriously. If you're new to the lipo thing, don't even try to mess with it. Discharge it in a glass of saltwater, cut the deans connector off of the end, and throw it away.

I've successfully brought several packs (that are still going strong) back from the dead by charging them on a NiMH (on a low current setting) until they get up to about 2.8-3.0V/cell. Then, stop the pack and switch over to Lipo/balance.

| While this can work, make SURE the battery is in something that WON'T burn in case it decided to die in a spectacular fashion!! |

I've run down one of my 3s packs below LVC and the pack just wouldn't charge up again because the voltage of one of the cells was too low. I charged that cell only (as a one cell lipo), then balanced the pack and then balance charged the pack - Presto! It also kind of depends on what charger/balancer you have since some are more accurate and/or adjustable than others. |

I'm with Duuuuuuuude on this. If you are new to lipo dont even think about screwing with that pack. The potential to loose a eyebrow/your house thanks to a chem fire are still pretty high. Discharge the pack, ditch it and get a new one. |

Next time use a lipo alarm like this to remind yourself to turn it off: http://cgi.ebay.com/7-4v-14-8v-RC-Li...item255e6d1a6c |

If you do try and save it make sure its outside away from anything that can combust or catch fire and watch it close. I mean sit there and baby sit it until the voltage is up. It sounds scary but as long as you take caution you should be fine even if it decides to go up in flames.

| Think about it. Spend $20 on a new one, or potentially cause yourself bodily harm/property damage. Its not worth the risk.

X2. Its not worth the risk! I would rather learn a $30 lesson than a $200.000 lesson. Buy a new pack and remeber to be more careful next time. | |

I would also recommend a charging bag in the future, to be on the safe side.

For future reference my buddies high dollar charger has a recovery option that will charge the lipos no matter how far down you drain them. he had mine fixed in about 1 hour.
