| Nylint 1/10 Jeep crwalers any good for cheap, temporary fun?
While I'm doing my research and plotting my SCX10 build, I ran across a guy selling a complete Nylint 1/10 jeep crawler, 1 almost complete, a chassis, electronics, and some spare parts for under a hundie. I remember the craze in the 1:1 Jeep crowd over these when they came out years ago, but wasn't into r/c crawling then. My question is, how fun/good are these? Will they keep a smile on my face for a few months while I order and build my SCX10? Are they durable or upgradable? I looked for a forum area on them here but didn't see one, sorry if I missed it. Thanks in advance for your input! Last edited by LowLock; 03-03-2011 at 12:46 PM. |

Actually, what are you willing to spend on a temp crawler? You may have much better options that you don't know about. Have you considered a used Losi micro/mini? You can at least resale them. Several people like the Redcat's for a entry level crawler, I don't think they hold there value once used (I better put on my flame retardant suit!). |

Thanks for the input, but for the 50 bucks I'm going to spend on the whole package RTR just to beat on for a few weeks, I was wondering if it's worth the money.

Temporary is an overstatement. I had one for a good 20minutes, them something broke and it was junk. Sold it to a guy that need partsand I got my AX. Wow, that was a while ago.

Thanks for the input guys, but I decided to pass on it, even for 50 bucks. They just don't seem good at any cost, even for temporoary use.
